In my symbolic world, the most commonly used image of the tree is the intertwined form of roots and branches. It is a symbol of the nature of the land of light and its connection with the sun and moon—a representation of resilience, patience, fertility, and abundance.
The shared qualities of the tree and woman in fertility and blessing, their connection to the earth, and their role in the continuation of life are manifestations of the unity between woman and tree.
