Mirmohamad Fatahi (b. 1987, Karaj, Iran), received his painting diploma from the School of Fine Arts. He continues illustrating in the oldest children magazine in iran, "Keyhan Bacheha". He is studies for Bachelor of Arts i Painting at Sooreh Art University of Tehran, and he has worked as background artist in variously projects and has received many prizes. He held his first solo exhibition in the Iranian House of Cartoon In 2014. He was one of the finalists for the “Portrait of Animal" section of the "Golden Turtle” contest. He won second prize in the “Drawing Festival” held by Karaj Painters Association. He has participated in many group exhibitions in prominent galleries such as Etemad Gallery, Sanaty Museum, Alserkal Avenue/Dubai. Following his presence in "Agog Exhibition" hosted by Dastan Gallery, He began collaborating with Dastan Gallery and held Two of his solo exhibitions there, titled "Remembrance" and "Wordless". Painting for him revolves around the theme of Iranian Art and the issue of Death. he uses various materials to harmonize the idea and form, such as oil, watercolor, etc.
Dastan features an extensive and multi-dimensional program, focusing on the full spectrum of Iranian contemporary and modern art. Dastan's program includes Dastan's Basement, Dastan+2 and Dastan:Outside. In addition to hosting exhibitions, Dastan publishes artist books as well as monographs on Iranian art, features film screenings, performance projects and other events.
