Each glassware item in this collection is unique due to its handmade nature.

The character used in this product, Sugar, is a recurring character in Sina

Ghadakasaz's artworks. This creature adapts perfectly to its surroundings, guided by its biological abilities. Sugar neither identifies with a particular gender, nor is it concerned with anthropocentric perspectives. It's conscious of its specific place in the natural world, but does not harbor an explicit mission. Instead, this character aims to subtly influence people to reevaluate their connection with nature and fellow humans

    Artist biography:

Sina Ghadaksaz (b. 1992, Tabriz, Iran) is a multimedia artist based in Tabriz, Iran.

Sina Ghadaksaz's artistic practice can be divided into two connected parts: Theory and Practice. The first part includes his activities and projects as an art ethnographer and the second part, which as he believes is the main part, includes the process of painting. Ghadaksaz’s paintings are associated to his anthropological knowledge and he tries to continue his theoretical approaches in them, not with a conceptual form of art but simply by action of painting and making images.

Sina Ghadaksaz's solo exhibitions include “In basement: A spectacle” (Dastan’s Basement, Tehran, 2020); “Sugar in the Basement”, (Dastan’s Basement, Tehran, 2022).
