Idea behind the work
Statement for tall candlesticks:
The set consists of two unique ceramic candlesticks with heights of 180 and 150 centimeters, each made of eight separate pieces. Each piece is uniquely handcrafted and coated with a velvety matte glaze that enhances a sense of softness and visual balance. Each piece has a different color, which not only adds to the visual diversity of the work, but also allows for a creative and personalized arrangement for the audience.
These candlesticks are more than just a simple lighting tool and are actually considered as a modern sculpture with the ability to change and move parts to create different arrangements and a playful experience. Each piece is placed on a metal rod that can be easily moved to achieve a variety of visual combinations.
Despite the sculptural aspect, these candlesticks only have the capacity of a regular-sized candle, showcasing their limited but precise use. The work combines handmade art, form, and function, offering a different experience of design and lighting.
