In 1372, Shiraz Baft officially started producing Qashqai handlooms and in 1390, due to the recession of the market, the production of Shiraz Baft's handlooms has been decreasing. In 2014, less than one family was engaged in "Rand" weaving in a village in Fars. A beautiful and wheat-shaped technique is one of the endangered carpet weaving techniques. The second generation of "Shiraz Baft" with the new name "Marzbani" started its work in 2014 step by step design, strategy, branding and redesign... and now more than 100 weavers are engaged in weaving rugs and rands. At least 50% of Marzbani Group's products are woven with rand technique
