Founded in 2010 in Shiraz by architects Alireza Emtiaz and Saqar Khakdan, SA Design Company operates in the realms of furniture design and manufacturing, as well as architectural and interior design projects. The products they create serve various applications, yet share a common philosophy. The company strives to integrate not only a distinctive design approach but also an ecological worldview into their offerings.

The phenomenon now referred to as the “alphabet” is regarded as one of the most remarkable and intricate inventions of humanity. Over the past 15 years, Sa Design Group has dedicated itself to researching Arabic calligraphy, aiming to infuse the aesthetic spirit of this art form into practical objects, while presenting it in a contemporary and modern context.

Patterns, symbols, and signs hold significant importance in interpreting and appreciating Iranian beauty and art. Elements such as gardens, deserts, fire, water, flowers, and trees are integral to the cultural fabric. Each product is meticulously crafted and produced in limited editions, ensuring its rarity and special value. While the pieces may appear simple at first glance, their construction is intricate. The initial visual impact is created by colors derived from pigments used in the automobile industry. These colors are layered onto composite materials, which consist of two or more constituents, allowing for the creation of blends with distinct chemical or physical properties. When necessary, the composites are reinforced with metal, supported by a carbon fiber core.
