نام این برند برگرفته از نام خانوادگی لطفی است که سه نسل از این خانواده در زمینه دستبافته های ایرانی فعالیت دارند، که هم زمان با ثبت خانه ای تاریخی در فهرست بناهای تاریخی ایران، به نام خانواده لطفی، بهانه ای شد برای به وجود آمدن نام این برند.
